Pizza Dough

Time: 1 hr 45 minutes Serves: 2 Pizzas Oven: 500F

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 2 and 1/4 tsp yeast

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 and 1/2 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Add warm water, honey and yeast into a mixer. let proof for 10-15 minutes

  2. Add in olive oil, salt and slowly incorporate the flour while mixing on the lowest speed. Kneed for an extra 10 minutes once incorporated

  3. Place dough in a well oiled bowl and cover. Let rise for 40-50 minutes

  4. Once risen, pour dough out on a floured surface and split into two. Roll out each dough ball to desired size.

  5. *Optional - Place pizza dough on your tray and cover with a towel, letting it rise for another 15 minutes

  6. Top with desired toppings and bake in oven at 500F for 5-10 minutes
