Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 white potatoes, peeled and chopped

  • 30g butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/8 cup cream

  • Parmesan to taste

  • Chives, chopped to garnish

Instructions

  1. Place peeled and chopped potatoes in boiling, salted water for 15 min until soft. Drain and set aside in a mixing bowl to cool

  2. Melt the butter in a pan on medium-low heat and add in the minced garlic. Cook until butter is browned

  3. On the lowest setting in a mixing bowl, whisk the soft boil potatoes until almost smooth. Finish mixing with a fork

  4. Add in the browned garlic butter, pepper, salt and cream. Mix until smooth

  5. Finish with parmesan and chives to taste
