Artisan Bread

Time: 1 hr 30 min Servings: 1 large loaf OR 2 small loaves OR 6 buns Oven: 375 F
Ingredients
1 and 3/4 cups warm water
1 and 1/2 tsp yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 and 1/2 tsp salt
3 cups flour
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp egg whites
*Optional - Toppings of choice (I like everything bagel seasoning)
Instructions
In a bowl, fold in the warm water, yeast, sugar and salt. Cover and let the yeast activate (about 10 min)
Sift on top the flour and add in your oil. Fold all ingredients until incorporated, cover and let rise for 1 hr
Dump onto a flour surface and form into what you desire (either a large loaf, 2 small loaves or 6 buns) and cut a X on top of the dough
Cover and let rise for another 15 min before brushing on egg white and topping with preferred toppings
Bake at 375 F for 20 min
