Grinder Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 6inch baguette

  • 1/2 cup mayo

  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tsp dijon mustard

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 2 tsp oregano

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 3 options of lunch meat of your choice (I like salami, pepperoni and prosciutto. Two or one is also fine)

  • 2 options of cheese (I like provolone and cheddar. One is also fine)

  • 1 bunch of iceberg lettuce, chopped

  • 1 tomato, sliced

  • *Optional - 1/2 red onion, sliced and 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine your mayo, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, dijon mustard, garlic, oregano and salt and pepper

  2. To the bowl, add your chopped lettuce and onions and jalapeños if you are doing so. Mix until lettuce is completely coated in the sauce

  3. To the baguettes, add in your choosing of lunch meat and top with cheese. Stick in a oven or toaster oven until desired level of toastedness

  4. Finish building the sandwich by adding slices of tomato and the lettuce sauce. Enjoy
