Ingredients
Chicken Parm
12 buns
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup grated parmesan
4 chicken cutlets
1/2 cup oil (if using skillet)
6 oz. mozzarella, sliced
1 cup bread crumbs
2 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
1/2 garlic clove, chopped
3-4 basil leaves, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Rose Sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 oz. vodka
1 can tomato paste
1/2 white onion, diced
1 cup cooking cream
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
Heat a large saucepan with olive oil and add in onions. Sauté for 4-5 min until soft. Add in tomato paste and mix together. Add in cream and mix until combined. Add vodka and salt and pepper to taste. Mix and simmer for 2-3 min
For the chicken, add a beaten egg and bread crumbs to separate bowls. Add chicken to egg followed by bread crumbs and shake off the excess. Place chicken on a baking sheet. If using a skillet to fry, heat oil in a skillet over med-high heat. Carefully add in chicken and let sit 3-4 min per side. If using air fryer, add chicken in at 350F for 15-20 min
Cut buns in half and add to the baking dish. Add chicken to the bottom of the buns followed by rose sauce, mozzarella and a layer of parmesan cheese. Place the top of the buns on-top
Mix together butter, garlic, basil and parmesan cheese. Brush the mixture on-top of the buns
Bake for 8-10 min until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and enjoy
