Fried Meat Pies

Ingredients
2 and 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 cup warm water
1 tbsp olive oil
1.5 lb ground meat of choice (I like beef)
1 green onion stalk, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp minced ginger
1/4 cup water
Instructions
In a larger bowl, mix together flour, salt, warm water and oil. Knead until it forms a ball and is smooth.
Dust flour onto a counter top. Cover the dough and let sit for 30min
Meanwhile, mix together your ground meat, green onion, onion, oyster sauce, soy sauce, pepper, ginger and 1/4 of water until everything is fully incorporated
After 30 min, roll dough out and cut into round, large circles. (I like to use a wine glass as a stencil)
Roll out each dough circle until about the size of your hand. In the centre, add in 2/5 tbsp of the filling and fold in the dough until secure (think like a large dumpling or wonton)
In a non-stick pan, drizzle in oil and add the meat pies. Cover and fry for 4 min on each side
Serve with favourite dipping sauce
