Teriyaki Ground Beef/Turkey Bowls

Ingredients:
For the Teriyaki Sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup water, divided
2 tbsp honey
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger grated or minced
2 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp orange zest
For the Stir Fry
1 lb ground beef or turkey
2 tsp sesame oil
3 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
1 small onion small diced
1 cup shredded carrots
salt and pepper to taste as desired
Instructions
In a sauce pan, combine all sauce ingredients and mix consistently on low-medium heat until thick. Remove from heat
In a pan, brown your meat with the onions.
Once browned, add in all veggies and cook until soften.
Finally, add in the teriyaki sauce over-top the mixture. Serve over rice
