Sesame Chicken Marinade

Time: 4 hrs (marinade) Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced in half

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • Zest and juice of 1 lime

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 inch ginger, minced

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce

  • 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce

  • 1 chopped bunch of green onion

  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Mix all sauce ingredients together and place in a plastic bag with raw chicken.

  2. Marinade for 4 hours or overnight. This marinade can also be stored in the freezer.

  3. Sauté the chicken with a little oil or place in air-fryer for 20 min at 360F.

  4. Best assembled on a bed of rice. Optional toppings can include chopped vegetables, hard boiled egg, kimchi, asian cucumber salad. sesame oil fried spinach or pickled veggies.
