Mushroom Thai Basil Udon

Ingredients

  • 2 servings frozen udon

  • 2 cups mushrooms, chopped

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2.5 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce

  • 1.5 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

  • 2 cups Thai basil

Instructions

  1. Pour hot water over the frozen udon so the udon can separate, drain and set aside

  2. Prepare the sauce by mixing together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar an sesame oil

  3. In a pan, drizzle in oil and turn the heat to medium-high. Add in chopped mushrooms and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 min or until fragrant

  4. Add in drained udon and drizzle in the sauce, sauté for another 2-3 min

  5. Add in Thai basil and sauté on high heat for 1-2 min
