Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts, sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Optional: 1/4 teaspoon MSG (for added flavor)
Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Rice or Noodles
Instructions:
Slice chicken breasts into thin strips. Cut broccoli into bite-sized florets. Mince garlic cloves.
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, white pepper, and optional MSG. Set aside.
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken to the skillet and stir fry for 4-5 minutes until cooked through and lightly browned. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
Return cooked chicken to the skillet with the broccoli.
Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and broccoli in the skillet. Stir well to coat everything evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Garnish with chopped green onions. Serve the Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry with Garlic Sauce hot over cooked rice or noodles.
