Cajun Pasta

Time: 20 min Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 sausages, sliced

  • half a onion, diced

  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced

  • 2 and 1/2 cups of chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup of cream

  • 1 can tomatoes

  • salt, pepper and other seasonings to taste (I used maagi, oregano and garlic powder)

  • 1 box of pasta

  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the sausages until cooked through in a pot on med heat. Remove and set aside.

  2. In the same pot, add in your diced onion and garlic. Sauté until onions are translucent.

  3. Add back in the sausages and add in broth, cream, tomatoes and seasoning. Let come to a simmer before adding your box of pasta. Stir and cover. Let cook for about 10 min.

  4. Once pasta is cooked, add in cheddar cheese and mix in until melted. Enjoy!
